We felt that it was important to show our children that 99.9% of the people in the world are kind and generous and will go out of their way to help you. We wanted to be peace ambassadors and show goodwill in our travels. This trip is our way of protesting against the cruelty, bigotry and hatred that humans can show towards the “other”. Human’s capacity for violence is matched only by our great capacity for kindness. It is our wish that love prevails in 2018.
